Still Alive

I've been delinquent! Jim and I are just soooo busy with this house and managing our day jobs. We have, however, made some serious progress. The bathrooms will be done this week (yipee) and most of the painting is done on the first floor. There is still a gigantic renovation mountain to climb, but next steps will hopefully be pulling out the carpets and refinishing the floor after the inspection.. Piece of cake, right!?

Here is what we started with:

And here is where we are. The color we used are gypsum white and barefoot beach.

This arch way will have to go after the inspection too!

The green is a goin'.

Still on floor #1 - this room is right off the entrance to the right from above.

Painting the trim is a pain in the derriere!

This is an entrance way into the room below.

I still have to figure out what to do with that terrible outdated ceiling fan. Could use a DIY idea.

Emma's room. She loved the green. She won't need a night light! It will be our glow-in-the-dark room ;)....ZING!

This is a closet in Emma's room that still needs some help.

I found this awesome find on Craig's list for a steal. It's going to look super cool in Emma's retro room!

Bathroom pre-gut!

The baneiro is looking much better these days! It will look the same on the 2nd floor too.

...but not the 3rd floor bathroom. We decided to keep the tub in this one.

Okay, enough of the 1st floor. Let's go upstairs which will be getting a face lift too!

Somewhere in the house...

Most of the closets are in bad shape too..3rd floor kitchen with new counter top and bottom cabinets. Top cabinets and backsplash next on the list.
